I figured it's probably time to put up a profile of sorts.
My name is Mandy O'Brien and naturally, I love anything to do with artwork. Eighteen years old, I'll be turning nineteen come August 2nd. I'm purely amature and completely self taught, so bare with me. Anatomy is my most obvious weakness when it comes to my work--but I'm striving to improve on that. When I work on a digital painting, I can never use custom brushes and rarely use filters. There's no reason as to why I don't--it just feels weird when I do so I avoid it.
I'll be attending ACAD in Calgary Alberta--and would like to major in their design courses. I really hope to get into the commercial arts. Animation would be my first wish--if not that, then concept art or storyboarding.
I'm lucky to have a wonderful partner in crime, Sean K. Dunkley. We're currently working on a graphic novel together titled Nevers--and hope to get much more work on that done soon.
For this reason, I may post an abundant amount of collab work. I hope no one should mind :]~<3
